The perfect season

Okay, I don’t want to brag too much, but I just have to say that this year was my first perfect season–canning season, that is…. Almost every year my daughter and I can salsa and tomatoes–not because it’s economically sound, but because they taste so good! We go to the farm and get our ingredients and then spend two days with wrinkly hands in the kitchen. This year, for the first time I can ever remember, not one jar broke, and absolutely everything sealed. We canned 41 quarts of tomatoes, 12  half pints and 19 pints of salsa for our 2 households. Yum!

Hi Cheryl,
Your salsa looks yummy. Bet that won’t last long.

I also like your curved piecing technique, and would like to use it & your pattern in a class I would teach. My understanding of the copyright is that that would be ok to do. If it is not, could you please let me know?
Thanks
Jean

Hi Jean,
Sure, you can use it. I was just explaining how I do it, and it’s not a big deal. Teach away! Are you teaching the Central Park pattern?

Yes I think so, I have been wanting to do something with curved piecing and think this looks like a good project to begin with.
Thanks!!

You go! All my students have had great success with this particular pattern–there’s lots of room for grace…

Hey Cheryl!
I just found your blog. Yummy looking salsa ~ something I’ve never done before.
